Business Development Officer


  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and customer/prospect executives and officers (ie comfortable covering both high and low level company officers across all functions in a clients/prospect organization) 
  • Managing accounts towards BOTH a high level of customer satisfaction AND account profitability
  • Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services,  and then to suggest how the companies’ offerings, processes, and policies can be improved 
  • Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.
  • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Developing responsive proposals and other requested marketing/sales collateral.
  • Developing (and analyzing) accurate and timely sales reports


  • At least 3 years experience working as a successful Business Development Officer in solutions/services-based/oriented B2B industries (IT, hospitality, financial services, telco, pharma, etc)
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications 
  • The ability to commute easily (ie with a car)
  • Good analytical, problem-solving,  & decision-making skills.
  • Very Strong ability to think on his feet
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent Effective communication skills (eg verbal, written, presentation, active listening)
  • Strong business acumen while having a pleasing/amiable personality
  • Both results and process oriented
  • Obsessed with achieving goals/targets/deadlines
  • Very good project/timeline management skills
